Was cutting up a frame when all of a sudden my flame went out. Handel got hot and oxygen gauge went nuts. I then turned off the tanks. All of a sudden the oxyen hose exploded. Broken hose whatever, not my concern. My question is, is my regulator fuct or my check valves?

definitly replace the check valves after something like that, if in doubt take the regulators in to a shop and have them checked when you get the new hoses.
just as a thought I run check valves at both ends of the hose, makes it harder for a flame to get into the hose in the first place.

We had a saying back in high school...

"You can always tell who the freshman are. They are the ones that stay and watch the regulators burn!":skull:

check your torch out, there is a reason that it burned back, more than likely the o rings are shot in the torch head to main body connector.
