tWO BUDDIES WENT UP ON FRIDAY to try and get a rig out that we had to leave last wekend. They should be back today with a good update

From the reports up by meadow their is a foot& half plus. Fordyce could be fun.

We decided to bag it. If cadillac is icy it could be an interesting trip down to say the least.

How were the slabs? Thinking about going up tomorrow.

going in = fine, coming out = hammer down

We went up today, and it was fine going in, walker was an icy S.O.B. Had a nice bbq at the box, then turned around and headed out back to loon. Slabs took some throttle to get out, but wasn't too bad.

What's Iron Mountain road like up by your place right now? Did it get covered yet? I know they closed the Silverfork gate already, and they normally do not do that until Iron Mountain is real deep.

I am thinking about heading up your way this weekend to play a little....

Ya know Im not sure...but Lisa (redheck) might know. We had 4 inches here at the house, but it's almost gone now. But...we are due for a storm friday night:)

I went up iron mountain until the turnoff for leek springs on Saturday. They are logging pretty far up the road, so it's like a freeway right now. A big slippery freeway.
Up at leeks lookout there was about 2 ft of snow.

South facing slope thet rarely gets heavy accumulations of snow.

Should be nice in a few days....it started snowing here in Pollock about an hour ago.....we have about 1/2 in or so:)
