Got the spindle finally off with a deadblow hammer and looks like this seal is trashed what seal is this, can I get it at an autoparts dealer ie..autozone, napa? Havent tried to take it off, I assume it just pulls off then?

I believe it is called a spindle dust seal, but I am not 100% sure. Napa does sell them, they should have exploded diagrams in their books so you can point to which one you need if the counter guy doesn't understand. It is a light press fit ont he stub shaft, I have removed and installed lots of them with a hammer and patience. A lot of guys who are in dry climates run w/o them and see no ill effects, We here in michigan do not have that luxery. We need every bit of help we can to keep the dust/mud/water/crud out of our wheel bearings. With any luck we get 1 year out of them :)

what he said:grinpimp: they should be easy to find at napa or carquest. be sure to put some grease on the surface that rides against the spidle.

i believe it comes in a "spindle bearing kit"
