Ok, Tony messed up 2 weeks ago, so here it is again:
Please call and listen in.

Hello Everyone.

This message is to let you know that our next bi-weekly telephone
briefing
on the Route Designation Project will be Tuesday, December 5, at 12:00
pm.
To access the briefing follow the instructions below:

Dial: 1-866-720-3489, then passcode: 9683102, then press #.

We will discuss the status of the project and you will have the
opportunity
to ask the Project Team Leader questions.

We encourage you to use the telephone briefings and ask that you inform
others about this opportunity. The briefings will continue every other
Tuesday at noon. Specific dates can be found on our website at:
http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/eldorado/projects/route. If you have any
questions
or comments please respond to eldoradoroutes@fs.fed.us.

We look forward to talking with you over lunch.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The meetings are every other Tuesday at noon, and the conference call
number and passcode are always the same. I would suggest marking your
calendars in case technical difficulties arise in the future,
preventing us
from sending the reminder.

10 people were in on the phone briefing, most of them National Forest cats.

Highlights included:

1. Final plan SHOULD be picked and the 45 day window will be open for public comments at or around end of January, beginning of Febuary.

2. Eldo's website will have the format for submitting your response to have roads/trails/campsites open (or closed for that matter)

3. Issue that was brought up: What if a route is on the Alternative picked is one I wanted on the map, but someone argued for it to be removed? How would I be notified about the change so I could also make a comment on that particular route?

Meaning, you could see a campsite you use on the map and think it was OK, but when the final plan is picked, it could have been removed under your nose becuase someone argued to have it removed.

Tony said he would work on that one.
