SD, at the risk of sounding like an ignorant DAN, how'd you do your buggy springs? Will there be any negitive side effects of having the buggy springs flex on the same side of the axle as the pinion? From what I've thought about it, to me, it would seem as though that would create bad pinion angle problems when flexing and bind the u-joint at the pinion side. Maybe I'm thinking about this too hard though.

Ohh...but it all looks really sweet, nice work!

Joe: Not soon enough...:(

High 5: Had the same fan before and it works fine...of course it could be because that's a triple pass 5 core radiator.

Tim: Well? We're waiting!:D

And lastly TX: Yes, you are correct..the Pinion will dip down when it is drooped...the same way that a longer shackle will do this too. That is one of the side affects of a Shackle Reverse system. However, I have seen these systems work great and I really didn't design the system to flex at all. It was just easier to fab on of those mounting systems up to save a little weight over my weld on mount and I have the option of semi-easily moving the shackle mount in the future. This way, I can play around with different springs;)

A lift block? For some reason I thought you were going to a 1/4 elliptic:question:

Hey, you have the same muffler setup as I do. Setup on the floor :D

Waiting for my new mufflers from JCW. They USMailed them last thursday...... I need to get them, and measure them, so I can finish putting my ladder bar in. I have all the pcs, just need to measure and place the crossmember. Then we can get out the firestick and finish the sucker up.....

I hate waiting.

Then, I need to replace my front lower brake lines.
Get the deep tranny pan, and take a look at my valve body....

<sigh>

Come on, chant with me

No, no 1/4 elip...I currently have blocks because:
1) I'm out of money--->serioulsy out of money

2) I was out of money last year too after I set up the front for stock waggoner springs..and then went lift ones in front and had to compensate in the rear.

3) Those land rover springs flex better than any other spring that I have used...I am throughly impressed with them.

However, the blocks will be replaced sometime this summer with some sort of lifted spring...I am thinking about some Alcans or maybe just another set of 44044's.

I don't really see a need for 14 elip now...I have too much flex as it is and I have trouble keeping the tires out of the wheelwells now...as for droop, I'm already running out of Shock..the new design for the shocks will put them back to the original factory configuration...like this: / \

Also, I really like how the full leaf spring suspension has a good return to center feel..I've seen 1/4 elip's unload at the wrong time causing the entire vehicle to suddenly flop.

Playing around with different spring now there's a great  Never thought of it that way. You are the second person today I've seen doing a front 3/4 ellip, so I must be missing something in my thinking...pre-graduation finals/jitters will do that to me...

Looking good, keep the pictures and updates rolling!
