I figure if we can offer to make them a few bucks, then they might be willing to do it?

It was a good show. I wish they would have included footage from the actual comp - including Rockstomper's multiple rolls. But it was still good. Off to send email . . .

Great show.That hour would have been great showing as one hour of shootouts after one hour of all the real action leading up to them.Adam got his three one seconds of fame.E-mail on its way.

I was asked by on of the exectives why there weren't more roll overs:confused: I mentioned that they only shot the best of the best this weekend, an they were perfect.....

They now understand that more of the footage needs to come from the rest of the event.

Direct TV, had the outdoor channel added about 3 years ago :D

Glad to see the sport on TV, and its great to show the top guys crawl a course.....

Yeah, I was kinda shocked to not see Scott, Shane or George Negron's attempt on the wall. Heck, any attempt on the wall.

But it was great to see the sport being covered. And even better that it was relatively timely (close to the actual date it happened)

Keep up the good work and thank you for helping promote the whole of the sport and not just your events. You guys rock.

Keep it private please...talk directly to Big Rich and he can get your words directly to the producer. DO NOT send anything negative to Outdoor Channel please.
You can still write a letter that helps us all by saying something like, "I was sure excited to see that RockCrawling would be on your station. Since viewing it in other programs and on other channels, I expected it to be some 30 minute show at some mid-night hour. I was pleasantly surprised to see my favorite motorsport on at a time that makes it easy to watch and in a length where I can actually follow what's going on."

That encourages and doesn't lie...

Hey everyone Hammer here this is what is going on. The Outdoor Channel only wanted a Half Hour program so they decided to only film the shootout not knowing the advantages of shooting the whole weekend and getting the action building up to the shootout. After they saw the footage after Boyd and ONE week before Worlds they then wanted a Hour long program. There funding for the program was very limited and decided to go this direction to see what type of responce they would get before investing into the 07 program 100%. Please the sport needs a Positive responce to have a program that can develop into what we all want to see. If you want to critique the program and give your input and help in the direction of what can happen next PM me and flame away. But we need everyone to be on the same page and realise this is the beginning of an adventure We-Rock was never developed to be on TV and it will take time,patience and commitment from this community to blend into this new and exciting formatt.

I would apprecite any suugestions be sent to me or Hammer. I have already talked to the producer and the programing director. We have discussed the need for more footage from the rest of the competition as well as covering all the classes. They now understand the direction W.E.ROCK wants to take with the series next year. The OutDoor Channel has a new president, brough over from SPEED TV. Their goal is 2 fold, to own motorized dirt sports and to increase the viewership to near 70 million homes in 2007. This is all good news for Rock Crawling as a sport and for those involved in this sport.

Please keep any e-mails to the OutDoor Channel positive, this was their first attempt at our sport, I watched it in a public place and thus was able to get feedback from people that knew nothing about the the sport. It held their interest, and the liked the fact that the show helped them to understand the sport. The segments of Team RedBull helped as well as the points scoring graphics.

All I was saying is that was what was mainly covered in Boyd. It wasn't derrogertory, it was more fact. I extremely pleased that some network is at least taking interest. For the sport it is a great move forward.

Just wondering if you work at/with extreme 4x4 TV? The comment above caused me to become interested if you were just post padding, but then, looking at all of your posts on this board by right clicking your user name, you are either praising Extreme 4x4 numerous times (which is fine) or saying something randomly negative about the other shows...or at least that's what it APPEARS to be.

I too thought those things were important segments as the sport is quite a bit more complicated than the average motorsport where "fastest" or "furthest" is the winner pretty much automatically. Given that only the shootout was shown, they probably should have taken more time to explain HOW those guys got INTO the shootout & how many teams they defeated in the process. A brief discussion on the differences in the two classes shown would also have been nice (When Outdoor Channel shows mud racing or tractor pulling, they always take a couple minutes to describe the class they're showing & talk about some of what is & is not permitted in the class).

From previous experience, DVD's are not even close to affordable until you get into the 1000+ copy range.
I'm sure Pat and those guys can attest to this. But I'm sure they can swing it and we'll gobble the discs up like nobody's business.

Last night's show again focused on the shoot-outs but it was good footage. Kinda funny to see myself and folks I know and partied with on TV.
