Well, I finally got to tack most everything together. I still need to make the side bars and another cross for the back. I just figured I would show you what I did last night.:D

Do you know a couple of guys from up there that go by the names of Chop and dajeeper (Dave)? I wheeled with them a few years back at Tellico.. had a grand time. A couple of good guys...
Chop wheeled a white CJ7 with 33" boggers and plywood half doors...

Thanks........... It's all just tacked together right now. I want to finish mounting the seats and tack in 1 more back bar and the 2 sides. Then I'm going to pull it out and do all the finish welding. I really need to be completed by this weekend. :rolleyes: :D

Just curious... if you were to make another cage would you stick with 2 or go to 1.75? Trying to decided between the two sizes...

I'd have to see if I have that stored.. I sold Dave a set of axle shafts a long time ago, and I don't recall where I sent them, other then to Indiana.

1.75 maybe even a 1.5. Just so I had more room between the floor and the rail. (to move the seat up or down)

I used 2" .120 wall because that's what I had.

IMHO, Post'n pics, is kinda like the "newbie, gotta make a name for myself, look what I can do" kinda thing..

It's diff'rnt for a "private" guy to post pics of HIS rig and the things that HE has done to it.... But for a SHOP that is in the buiness of biuld'n rigs to feel the need to keep pat'n themselves on the back kinda bugs me......Ya know what I mean?
