: Need pics 205 twin sticks.
willysrul 12-06-2006, 09:52 AM I just ground down the rail and now I'm wanting to build a set of twinsticks for my 205. It sits behind a 435 tranny and uses the stock adapter. Just looking for ideas of how to build the bracketry for it.
Thanks
jays68yak 12-06-2006, 09:56 AM Its a chevy but you get the idea.

Its a bunch of brackets from a auto shifter install my dad did in his chevelle, some rod ends, some tube, a long bolt, and some plate bolted to the adapter.
ivanribic 12-06-2006, 10:18 AM I've got a page with some pics and details that may help: http://www.clubfte.com/users/ivanribic/page2.html
willysrul 12-06-2006, 10:32 AM That's the one I have printed off to use. I was wanting to see what else was out there. Great info on that page though.
loveshackle 12-06-2006, 11:04 AM Here's another pic or 2 that might be helpful.

Well shit, I thought your writeup had dissapeared years ago. Glad to see that writeup is still around, its pretty much the best I've seen. Might want to find somewhere else to host that page though, if the uber-douchebag-cocksnacking-turdburglering-thumbtackboxfawking-pillowbiters that run fte see you've got stuff stored over there it will all vanish in a hurry.
willysrul 12-06-2006, 11:15 AM I've studied that one as well.
Thanks guys.

Oh, you mean that no-ball having dick sucking douche berry Kenny Payne? Yeah, he'll probably pull it but I doubt he'll be able to get around to it until he's done feeding Timmay a load. For Christ sake he couldn't even find the time to call or e-mail me and tell me why I was banned. Not that I can blame him. It's hard to type one handed while you're fisting yourself.
Oh, and twinsticks rule. :flipoff2:
leadmic 12-06-2006, 01:05 PM Hey Pro & Ivan just what did you two do to get the boot from FTE?:D
Leadmic
bossman79 12-06-2006, 02:15 PM i made mine out of stock shifters just grinded the sleaves downtill they fit on the bolt. one of the shifter was of a 77 highboy and one was from the 79. the highboy one is slightly taller than the 79 so they over lap eachother nicely turned out pretty good:flipoff2:
the shift boot came from broncograveyard.com

willysrul 12-06-2006, 02:21 PM Just got back from getting some solid bar stock 4ftx.625 dia.=$1.82.
Just need to fab some tabs and links. I guess I'll just wing it. Thanks for the pics. I'll try and post some when I get them done.

Come on, guys. Quit sugarcoating shit. Tell us how you really feel! :D
low_range 12-06-2006, 03:10 PM I cheated and bought the ORD kit, but its nice cuz it comes with boots (which i havent installed in over a year, lol) floor plates, shift knobs, etc. Here's some pics of it installed:
This is how you get to the rear shift rail. The link conects in roughly the middle, and when you pull/push on it, it pivots off the bolt in the foreground, and pulls/pushes the rail in/out.

not an easy pic to get when its already in the truck!

Looks like this in the cab. The one on the far left is for the NP203, so i guess you can ignore that one :p

willysrul 12-06-2006, 03:22 PM Thanks, Low Range. That is more of what I was looking for.
theydontstop 12-06-2006, 03:22 PM I went with the ORD kit as well. Same as the above pics, only in a Chevy. I have a Ford set-up for my Heep and I'm gonna go with the ORD shifters again. And I thought the cupholders were for beer, not drive flanges pucks:flipoff2:
low_range 12-06-2006, 03:26 PM cupholders arent deep enough for beer bottles, and we cant be spilling beer now can we?! :shaking:
