I have a bud that has front and rear Dana 60's in a Jeep he bought. The front is supposed to be a Chevrolet, the chunk is on the passenger side, but the lockout hubs are what is extremely weird. It has those HUGE Selcto External hubs on it. Anybody seen this, or have any info on them. Are they convertable to a regular internal Warn Premium type hub?
Thanks

I would automatically think someone switched the wheel hubs to Dodge style w/external lockouts. I haven't seen a Chevy w/them
stock, only the internal splined type. Those Chevy hubs are very
difficult to come by (in my experience) & more expensive, which
is probably why the PO of your truck bought the Dodge hubs -
my best guess:confused:

OOPS! I should have just told you to measure the wms. It could
be just a Dodge 60 & he told you Chevy. Measure the wms, if it's
67" it's Dodge, 69" it's Chevy. Or the shock mounts are a dead
giveaway also. If the mount is perpendicular to the housing & uses one shock mounting stud, it's a Dodge. If the shock bracket
is angular mounted inward, it's a Chevy D60. One more thing, if
the steering arm off the drivers knuckle is straight, it's a Dodge.
If it's angled slighlty inward, it's a Chevy. There are spring plate
differences too, but this should be enough info to go from :D
