I did mine on my 97 that I had. I already had the wire, but cost me $5. If you need wire, then obviously more. Used a relay for offroad lights, IIRC a 30 amp?? They have a diagram on the back how to wire it. Find the low/high beam wires and splice them in. Only takes bout 1/2 hour.

good replys got it done, easy as hell

for 90 gmc (colors)

4 post relay

switch post to light green wire (high beam power)
lights on out post (light brown wire)
power source and ground to other posts
