Could you guys recommend some cruiser vendors. I'm looking for steering boxes and crossover steering, and axle parts for FJ60. Does anyone make a spool for the rear? How about lower gears than 5.29? upgraded shafts for the rear? Thanks

Call Luke At 4x4labs for the steering (FJ60's are allready "crossover", right?)
spools are not available due to c-clip axles
polyperformance has badass rear axles.

Poly Performance for the rear. IIRC 5.29's are only vailable for the full floater rear axles.
I third 4x4 Labs!

I know I can get 5.29's Cruiser outfitters sell them for ALL cruiser axles. Am I safe with 37" tire on stock rear axles? I am aware of the front Birfs.

not that I would advise it, but IIRC people have ran 5.29's on semifloat axles by grinding a clearence out of the ring gear to clear the pin?
go figure

Even my 4.88s required a bit of grinding, Don.

4.56, 4.88 and 5.29's all require some grinding... a tad bit on the 4.56, a little bit on the 4.88 and a bit more on the 5.29 ;)
To date I'm yet to see a failure as result of the grinding, but it does make you cringe a bit doing it. I'd have to look but I can think of at least 40-50 5.29 setups that we've sold... no problems yet [knock on wood] :D
