Im having a problem with my aligmnet on my Dana 44. When I jack up the vehicle and set the toe at "toe in" about 1/16 - 1/8".

After I drive the truck, my tires end up being toed out about 1". As I jack up the truck.. the tire come back to what I set them at previously, about 1/16 - 1/8"

I cant find anything that is loose, It seems as if the tires are being pushed out (flexing on the rim)

I have done 3 other Dana44 solid axle swaps on other Tacomas... and none of them have this problem. Im running about 5-6* of caster.

What would casue my tires to push out when driving? Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like bad TRE's or Ball Joints.

How much camber are you running?

Im putting money on bad ball joints.... They can go bad and not feel loose........

I've always done my driveway alignments with the wheels on the ground. In between adjustments, I roll the vehicle back and forth a few feet to unload any bind built up in the rubber.

Don't the "pros" even do alignments with the wheels essentially on turntables?

He's right on the money. The tires are on pivots to ease any bind.
