A friend of mine gave me an old Craftsman lathe today. It's a 109.20630 just like the one shown here.

Mine needs to be cleaned up and oiled. Overall it's in very good condition. It even has an automatic feed both forward and reverse. Now I just need to get a manual and a 3-jaw chuck. It has a decent 4 jaw chuck but I think the 3-jaw will make it a little more user friendly.
Do any of you have a lathe like this? If so, do you have any documentation for it?

i have a similar size old craftsman. mine is a model number 101.21400. for a manual check out ozarkwoodworker on ebay link (http://cgi.ebay.com/OZ-CRAFTSMAN-6-Lathe-109-20630-Parts-Manual_W0QQitemZ250058051913QQihZ015QQcategoryZ672 37QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem). i have his manual for my 12x36 craftsman lathe as well as the threading supplement for it. i still need to get one for my 6" lathe. they are great reproductions of the original.
parts are still available from craftsman for the lathe you just got also. they are EXPENSIVE but still available. ebay has lots of used parts also if you need something.

300sniper, thanks for the tips. I also found this link http://www.homeshopsupply.com/parts.html to be a good source for parts.
ptrautne, thanks for the ZIP. There's some good info there. Those operating instructions are nice to have.

By the way...I took those JPGs of the manual you provided and created a single PDF document from them.
You can download it here (http://www.billys56willys.com/temp/Lathe/109-Operating_Instructions.pdf).

Well, I just picked up one of these too...Mine needs a few parts but most of it is intact. I was able to trade it for a bandsaw that never saw any use.
