I'm going to be welding in my .120 wall DOM cage and i'd like to know what settings
would allow for the strongest welds, what wire and speed.
this is the welder:

HMmmm.... Well that would be impossible without knowing what wire you're running . Hard or cored? .023/.025-.30? , an if its a hard wire what gas C02 or C25?
Anyways since every machine is slightly different the best thing to do is experiment. Try the manufacturers recommended setting , and mock up a few test coupons weld them, check it ,break it whatever then change things from there.
There is nobody here who can tell you what is "safe" for a setting on the machine EVEN if they own the same thing because your machine, your everything will be different. Its really up to you.
