Sorry to post in here, but I need a 'lil help from the Cruiser crowd, and then I'll venture back to the Rover forum where I belong :flipoff2:

Does anyone know of any good sources to find complete FJ-80 axles. I'm looking for F&R axles. About how much should I expect to pay for an FJ-80 axle?

I appreciate any help, I need to start gettin' my stuff together for my summer project:D

Thanks,

Jon

www.car-parts.com

Avg $1000 for rear without locker
$1200 for front without locker
Add $300 to $500 for locker axles.

Panzer,

Thanks for the info, I found several in my area! I think I'll be making some calls and visits this weekend.

off-topic, but where in NC is matthews? it sounds familiar, and I can't find a single pick-n-pull in my area... the guys at the "we pull it" yards don't know cars...

"What year is your vehicle, sir"
"It's a 73 cruiser, but that doesn't matter, I need an alternator for a late 70's Chevy PU"
"What year PU sir"
"Any late 70's"
"I NEED A YEAR, SIR"

I can't stand that...let me go look dammit!

Eskimo,
Matthews is in the SE corner of Charlotte around where 51 & 74 intersect. I've heard nothing but bad stuff about the yards around here. One place tried to sell a buddy of mine an old D44 rear for $600. Lemme know if you find any pick-n-pulls, because I don't know of any offhand.
