Ok what i did for the push rod was to add 1/4 " length piece of solid stock into the shaft hole to take up the space. ......Shaft hole?
Anyway it works and you dont have to lengthen the rod, at least on my 73 i didnt. the 1/4" spacer made up for the space .
I had to get a bigger retaining washer for the rod. The stock cj one was a smaller dia and it would slip past the locking ring.
it travels the same distance as my stock one and it was simple fix.
Now, Do i need to keep the stock porportioing valve even though i have a woldwood adjustable?
Can i leave it there anyway? I dont feel up to buying new lines.
thanks
