Hey guys,
I'm not all that familiar with harbor freight's since we don't have one around here, but I was looking at the site last night and they have the Hobart Handler 180's on sale for $629.99. With the 20% off coupon that's $503 and it comes with everything needed to run MIG except the bottle from what I can tell.
I was holding out for a Millermatic 175, but for $503, I'm tempted to jump on the Hobart.
I'm going to visit family later this week and they have a harbor freight, so I was wondering if this would work.
Thanks,
Ary

you'll have to call the store and ask to find out if it's something they stock.

Damn, called the store and they said it's online only.
Is there a coupon for online? And is there no way to tell online if it's online only? Seems kinda dumb.
Thanks,
Ary

I bought a HH180 from HF but apparently they don't ever stock this model in the retail stores. I mailed my order to them instead of completing the transaction online in an attempt to get them to honor one of the 20% coupons. Short story - they wouldn't. Oh well, i still got mine on sale at a pretty good price. Shipping was quicker than I expected it to be.

The HF around here got rid of all their name brand stuff right before the 20% coupons first came out. They used to carry Hobart, Milwaukee, DeWalt, and some other big names in the store. All gone, and for good, so I was told.

This website is for retail stores...

You can search to see if items are normally carried in the store. Not every store stocks every item, and they could be sold out, so call also. I also noticed at our local store, there is a kiosk where you can order online items and have them delivered to the store for pickup.

You should look into the Handler 187, the 180's replacement. Very sweet machine has 7 voltage taps instead of 4. Getting great reviews on the Hobart Forum. Cyberweld has them for $632 shipped.
Northern Tool also has them for $650 with free shipping and a free cart!
