: 21spline tcase in a ID YJ????? Monkeyboy 05-09-2002, 09:38 PM What the fawk?:confused: I thought 6 cylinder YJ's were supposed to have 23 spline tcase input shafts. Pulled my moms tcase out to put a 4 to 1 in and discovered had 21 instead of 23 splines. Jakesteramalamajama 05-10-2002, 04:51 AM 258s had the 21-spline BA-10/5. 4.0s had the 23-spline AX-15. There were also some changeover units in 1990 that had the 258 with an AX-15. Not sure, but I believe these were 21 spline as well... HTH, Jake Jonathan M 05-10-2002, 04:55 AM Can you say peugeot? Luckily my other teralow hasn't come in yet and the the nice folks at specialty parts are going to get the 21 spline one for me instead. I'll be planning on swapping that weak link out some day. I'll just have to order a 23 spline input for the teralow later. | |
