I have the stock engine. When I start the car in the morning and I press the clutch, the noise starts. After driving for a couple of minutes, the noise is gone. When the Samurai is warmed up, it is not making any type of noise anymore. It sounds like something is loose or something but I do not know where it is coming from. The Samurai runs well. It is just a noise. Thank you for your reply.

I thought that was normal :D . In other words I wouldn't worry about it too much. The next time your clutch goes out have who ever installs the new one for you, replace the throw-out bearing while they're at it.

didnt it take a week to get the fawking spring off:eek:

That sound is just the throwout bearing, if it starts to sound like it's grinding then its a problem.

What will happen if I drive it like that for a while and I do not change the bearings. I want to wait until my clutch goes out then open it up. My clutch looks like it has a lot of life in it thou.

I will check the fluids.

Thank you for your reply. :D

So why didnt you change the bearings while you were looking at the life expectancy of the clutch?

Oh, I did not open the clutch up. I just felt that there was no slipping or anything like that when I felt it with my foot.:D
