Hoping to do some snow wheeling (NorCal) over the holidays. Anybody know the snow situation up Iron Mountain Road?

Sorry for the lack of Tech :flipoff2:

If we dont get more snow soon...there may not be any snow to run in! I know up on donner summit at work, were down to about 4-8" depending on the exposure...at 6,500 feet.

Last I heard we are supposed to be getting the EL NINO effect. Which means we will get more rain then usual from warmer storms. Wont mean no snow, but It may screw things up a bit. The weather people are expecting storms to get warmer progressively over the next three months. But what do they know:shaking:

Weather here is still really f-d up. We had just under a foot for awhile, now its 40 degrees and the snow is all gone. We should have a solid 2-3 feet of pack by now. It's probably ok though. it means more time spent inside studying and less on snowboarding and snowmobiling. of course I wheel all year round. ;)
