Teraflex offers a fiberglass YJ replacement mono-leaf spring-- claimed stronger and lighter than OEM application. here is some info. www.teraflex.biz

I've heard of them being used on cars and I think they work pretty well. With todays technologies wouldn't be suprised if what they claim is true

This past month of Peterson 4x4 had a write up on them. They guy who put them on said that he loved them. He got a lot more flex (had to do some extra fender trimming). The only thing that he did was scratch the paint off of them. They made it sound like he was really hard on them.

Flex-a-form has tried to sell these for at least 10 years, I believe. I assume they are the manufacturer of these.

In general fiberglass leaf springs have been used in many OEM IFS designs, such as some of the 90s grand prixs and similar cars, corvettes, etc..

Any report on axle wrap?

The heavy duty kit retails for $2400. Called teraflex myself rthe other day about this kit. It seems really nice but I dont have that type of cash right now.
