Hey everyone...

I have a 92 Toyota 4-runner, V-6 Auto. Runs great , 4-inch sus lift, 33's Procomps on some MTs.

Im in the process of giving it a little more power and debating the small block swap, but so far it does ok for my needs, just a little more umfff would be nice. Im going to pull the motor fan and put in the electric ones and im currently looking for a performance Distributor or CAP (prefered) ANY IDEAS?? I have ran out of resources on it. After these 2 item changes I want to see how the truck is, if its not good enough which I think it will be nice. Then I will put in a new final...

Anyway thanks and see ya on the boards.

Have you regeared your truck to match the tires? That would be the first thing I would do. It makes all the difference in the world.

nah not yet. My truck was runing just ok before I start anything, what type of gears do you suggest though? I saw the 4.88 was a good one to use. When I bought it, it had 32s, maybe thats most of my problem.

4.88 with 33 in. tires will put you close to the way it ran with stock gears and stock tires. You will be wasting $$$ trying to increase HP from your engine without regearing to match your tires. Your HP gains will never compensate for the oversized tires on a stock motor.
