Hello, new to posting, been here awhile tho....
Anyway the question I have is related to my 87 4runner with a 22re. Its got the top shift w56 in it currently that is grinding and not shifting in to gears and just b'n an all around pain in my ass.
Question what is involved with making a farward shift trans fit in there untill i can repair the w56, cause ive got one lay'n on my garage floor? Think its either the g52 or g54, its out of a 85 carb'd truck. Is it just floor mod'n? and possably swapping/drilling the flanges? I really dont want to tear into it and find it to be a major pain in the ass, its my 50/50 dd.

Anyway if you have any info on the subject post it up please.

Thx

Your better off just fixing the original trans. The t-case shift levers are different from top shift to forward shift.Your t-case wont bolt up to the new trans. Check out the Marlin's website, theres alot of info there. http://www.marlincrawler.com/
