What t-case can I adapt to a turbo 350 that drops on drivers side using stock components? I searched on here for hours could not find answer.

An atlas is always a good choice. Or you can use a Chevy NP231 which had a drivers drop. As far as the adapter goes. There are after market ones out there. I'm not sure on the stock adapters for this application.

I wonder if there is anyway that you can swap input gears and whatever else need from a ford np205 to a chevy np205.

I dont think your going to find something with stock components, but you could adapt to a clocked dana300, but by the time you buy the adapter, clocking ring, and regear, and upgrade shafts you may as well have spent the money on an atlas. or

Or you can do what I did on my last buggy and build your own 203/205 doubler and use a chev 203 range box adapted to the ford 205 drivers drop but you will probably have to ran a turbo 400 trans.

What about an np 241 from a 1988+ chevy? my 91 Z71 has a np241 w/ driver side output. The 700r4 and th350 have the same 4 bolt pattern on the back of the trans. Might need a few misc parts. Can anyone verify that. And regarding using the chevy 205 gears in a ford 205 case, pleas let me know. I want to swap a my sbc/700r4/205 in a tj.

I would put $$ you can do an input swap on the ford 205, but then of course you would have the issue of it bolting up together? I would think you may be able to drill and tap the case? for the chevy adaptor? but not sure?

is there any possible way to convert a push button gm NP241 driver drop to manual?? i found one here locally for $150 but its push button. in yalls opinion would it be easier to just get a manual Tcase? im not familure at all w/ Tcases but can read a manual and put stuff together great.

The front case half on my NP243(pushbutton 241) looked to be different than the 241. I do not think you can easily swap the 2, the good thing is 88-98 241's are plentiful and pretty easily found for cheap.

How strong are the manual 241's? I think I have read they will take like 1000lb's of tq. plus you can get a super short sye.

the ford input on a 205 (off topic, but asked) is a female, meaning 3.5" input bearing size. the 350 is a male, meaning 3" bearing size. No swappy. only the 400 input and ford input swap.

Thanks for imput:D . I went ahead and bought an adapter to go from my 203 to a ford 205.

a 241 would not be a bad way to go. they're light weight, quiet, strong, geared the lowest out of the stock gm cases (2.71:1) and do not require any mods to be bolted in place. and they can be found for around $200 with the adapter. all parts are easy to find as well.

The 81-82 TH350 & NP208 adapter will work with the NP241.
