We went out to the Rockpile tonite to recover a Hummer. Some dude borrowed his buddies H1 and ran it off the backside of S hill. Heres some pics but there not to good, night recovery. It was in a ravine on its lid, I maxed out the 9500TI trying to pull it up hill. We finally got it floped over started it, put some tranny fluid in it and drove it out. :cool2:

hey Rad,
Where is Rockpile? Somewhere in Carson?
Too bad about the H1. Was it driveable after you guys rolled it over? Yep, great recover operation. I am sure the owner, not the knucklehead driving it, appreciated it..

He must be a really good friend, or there will be an auction to pay damages. Let me know if he has a front or rear dana 60

The Rockpile (aka prison hill) is at the southeast edge of Carson. Its kind of like Moonrocks but more spread out. The Hummer was on its lid for over a day and it fired right up, it did need some ATF but it was driven out. :D

Wouldn't that put it outside the vehicular access area? Seems to me that's the same general area where the Bronco and the Jeep were trashed a few years ago.

It was almost to the private property by the river. You could see Mexican dam from were it was. He had no business being there. There was a small trail that ended about 100 yards from there and he kept going. He tried to cross the ravine at the top and flopped over. We had to be carefull when we righted it so it didnt keep going down hill.
