Ok so today I go to take off both of my front tires to look at the brake pads. I take one tire off fine and put a jackstand underneith the frame on that side. I go to loosen the lugs on the other side and they are already loose. Thats weird, I think and jack up the truck. It turns out that when I turn the lugs the bolt that they are on turns too. So now I know that I have a problem and I figure that the bolts have all been broken off somehow (explaining the strange noises from the front right). You'd figure that if the bolts are broken off, I could pull the tire off. I cannot pull the tire off but I have no idea how the hell it is stayin on there. WTF?!?! Does anyone know what the hell is goin on?  I sure as hell don't. Any ideas will be helpfull. Thanks

well, I've never heard of it happening to all of them at the sam time but the studs that your lug nuts go on are pressed in from the back side and have splines in the first 3/4" or so too keep them from spinning. could be that they are all stripped but I cant see that happening to all of them take the hub off and remove the whole rotor and all from the spindle. i.e. take the bearings off. and you should be able to get to the studs from the back.

Stud isn't broken. They are a press-fit into the rotor/hub. this keeps them from rotating when you tighten/loosen the lugs. Sounds like they broke loose of the press-fit and are now spinning along with the lug nuts. Sounds like you're going to have to pull the hub off with the rim still attached so you can get at the back side of the studs.
If you have disc brakes good luck getting it off.

if u cant take the entier axle out sue to teh retainin nut ! drill the studs out from the front..
then pull the hub etc .. then purchase a new hub newstuds.. and new nuts,.... quickest way i see.. maybe take it to a shop with a torch heath the lug nuts and beat them off..

trake sum sort of saws all and cut the lug nut on one side usea punch tospilt it once its cut..
etc etc,

good luck

i had this happen with alluminum spacers....... get a buddy to pry the tire/wheel.... then get yourself a good 1/2 air impact gun..... i got mine off just by the high speed gun and some wedgeing...... its worth a try first....

Sounds like the lug nuts got loose and allowed the wheel to flop around and beat up the lug nuts and studs.
Pent oil, pry bar and impact wrench would be my first tool choice.
I would take a close look at the wheel lug nut seats.
The hub and disk and wheel are all probably junk.
Sounds ugly.
Good luck.

Now is the time to swap in a front 60

IF you can get to the back of the studs, weld them on then spin off the lugs.
