Changing out the fluids today I had an underfill in the tranny and and overfill in my t-case. (T-18 and D20) I have a wheeling trip planned for this coming weekend and probably can't replace the seal in time. I am gonna fawk anything worse than it is already fawked up by waiting or do I bite the bullet and take it to a mechanic?

TIA

How long has it been since you checked the oils last? It will depend on how long it takes for the oil to transfer.
Bring some extra trans oil and a sealed bucket to drain some into if it needs it at the end of the day.

You have all weak to pull two drive shafts, one or pins, then 6 bolts. Then one big nut. I think it should only take you an hour to fix. OK so you like to have a few:beer: while you work. 2-3 hours. Or every so often you can just drain a little out of the TC and put it back into the tranny.

As far as it hurting anything. you can run the tranny low if you are only going slow. I would fill it to run down the inter state.

Thanks for the help. In the middle of taking finals so I don't have any extra time to work on it this week. Sure wish I could get in on a few  's though. I'll just make sure everything is all oiled up and I'll keep her under 120 on the interstate :D
