BTW - I've seen Broncomania on the trails at Uwharrie. He almost rolled it on a rocky hill, but saved it just in time. It's more than a mud truck.

ox, i dont make excuses. i cant believe your on another board bashing my name like you are. yeah most of the stuff around me to offroad is mud. i built this bronco in 2 years . im not finished with it. ive climbed rocks before. not my style though. im learning to like it. thats why im getting some extended radius arms and a front locker. i just bought a tow rig and a new trailer. tellico is on my list. among others. you guys said lots of bs towards me or my bronco while bitching with other people about who was best. and i wasnt even the one you were bitching with. it wasnt even a blow out victory. he won by one vote. what about fotm ?? look how many votes i had and never talked junk to anyone there. but i have a friend that is a yankee so i kind of understand and expect that kind of crap coming from up north. anyways congrats to your friend reptillikis on his victory.

I didn't start that thread and no one that I know directly did (I didn't even see it unitl I checked the rules threads yesterday). Fact is that EVERYONE noticed you spamming the entire FSB board every chance you got and most thought it was tacky. Your buddy turned it into a rock vs mud thing so I just extended the comp a bit. If you where a member of the largest mud bogging board in the world and thought of it first, you would have been quick to spam there too. :flipoff2:

Dude, I really like your truck, honest. Anyone who knows me knows I love 78/79's ( I have 4 of em) and there is nothing like the sound of a big block @ full song.

It was horrible, no susp travel, no beadlocks (no traction), no hydrosteer with front locker (can't steer), no steering travel with fenderwell headers, front and rear detroit, which made the turning radius even worse when I could steer.

When you finally get to tellico and then completely rebuild your truck from one end to the other, then maybe you will understand why I think reps bronc is massively technically superior and should have won. It's my opinion and if pointing out what I believe is fact is considered bashing, so be it.

It doesn't, but I've built both a hard core mudder and hard core rock crawler out of 78/79 broncos. The rock crawler took me 10 times the amount of time and money (and I'm still not done). But where it really took it's largest toll was a whole bunch of thinking. You spend hours sitting under the truck saying to yourself, how the eff am I going to get that to work. :confused:

well thanks, just seemed to me that you guys were hammering on me because of what someone else said. that was my first time being in that comp. i havent been on fsb long and didnt know that spamming was exactly what i was doing. so big sorry. i posted up a thank you to anyone that voted fore me and then in my chapter and 78/79 chapter i did put up a post trying to promote votes. but anyways it was fun while it lasted. i am really glad that a well built rig one the competition. not that a lesser rig would have deserved it or anything. everyone would have. thanks ox . im glad we cleared it all up. :D
