Hat's off to my 2F. It has been a good soldier but it is time to go back in the ranks and power another rig that does not turn 42" tires.

I am in the "unplug" stage, taking Kate apart in preparation for the LT-1 conversion.

I am kind of sad to see her go, yet I am SUPER excited about 300 HP

BTW, does anyone have a decent tranny hump for cheap they can send ole Nolen. I think I will be able to get away with the stock holes with the Auto tranny....

Thanks!

Got turtle?:flipoff2: I'm at that stage right now where I want to keep it a Land Cruiser but I also want a wheelin vehicle that I don't mind banging up and rolling.

Keeping it Cruiser is definately possible. YOu can have a HELL of a wheeling rig simply by installing an SM420 and doing a spring over.

Leave the rest stock anf look out!

One day I plan on building a FJ-45 that is all Toyota except for the tranny.

Nah, the F engine in Wilbur only has 15,000 miles on it

No way I would swap a 120K 2F for a 15K F

Sorry about the tease, i will post some shots when I get some that are worth of posting.

If I go SOA it will be this winter and I think I'll use FJ 60 axles to widen it. The bonus there is that then one set of axle spares covers both rigs (40 and 60). Also keep eyeing the FJ60 for a SO, just gotta wait until I get word about a certain job and then it's on. :D

Yo Nolenmeister,

What auto tranny you going with?

I can definatly relate to this. Up until last fall I was running my old tired 2F, pushing 40's. Finally had to admit I needed more power so in went the 454 (ya I like overkill :flipoff2: ). From my experience I can guarantee you one thing, after the first test drive with the new motor, you won't be able to slap the stupid grin off your face :D .

Good luck and post pics.

Look into Lokar for your shifter for the 4L60E.

You'll love it!

Keep the buildup info so I can use it for the 1994 LT-1 4L60E I've been sitting on for the last three years.

I really want to drop it into an FJ60.

Who's gonna splice it in?

New harness from Centech or ?????

Details... C'mon man!

:D  :smokin: :D :usa:

Good luck Nolen. I'm sure it will be sweet when you get done, I am gonna hold on to my 2F as long as possible, too. I love it now with the injection, and in the dry rocks of Arizona i think i will have enough power, i hope...
