I did a search for this but nothing came up:flipoff2: I see alot of people use angle for their rockers after triming, but has anyone built a nerf bar off of this?? This way you have all the clearance and still the use of a nerf bar...pros and cons please:)

I've seen a guy use angle, then notch out and weld tube to it. Is that what you're thinking of:confused: ;)

That's Butch Lewis' (http://www.butchbuilt.com) 40. Anyone who's seen Butch's work will agree he is one of the best metal fabricators around. He works on cruisers and mogs.

Thread on rocker protection, instead of using a C Channel, cut all of the metal underneath the door out and weld square tubing in.
Very strong and still looks good.

Will those Heep nerf/rockers work on a cruiser?

I do not see any reason why they would not work other than some minor trimming. I was wondering if anyone have used them or something like them and what their thoughts were.
