This weld together cage kit is designed to fit tightly within your Toyota machine and provide maximum protection for the passenger compartment in the event of a roll over. Your roll cage is made from 1.75x.120 HREW or DOM tubing for all the main tubes with support tubes and gussets made of 1.5x.120 to save space and head room. Also included are 1 inch round tube handles, laser cut mounting plates for both sides of the body, and mounting hardware. Kits come ready to weld with all tubes pre-notched to fit every time and weld in place.

We've spent hundreds of hours making sure they fit like a glove and you will not get a better fit from any other vendor out there.

Extended Cab Cages come with the very important x bracing for the rear most cross hoop. In the ex cab you can even keep the stock shelf after notching out the rear two corners by about 2 inches, your cage will fit THAT TIGHT!

We offer two lengths of cage for this model. The Passenger Length kit covers from the Dash to the back side of the rear wheel well. The Full Length kit covers all the way back to the tail gate.

90-95 4 Runner:

I wrecked a tacoma with 12" of lift about 2 years ago. I rolled it side over side about 5 times. Wish I would have had on of these cages in it.

The 4 runner cage is as pictured plus some more gussets and the 4 metal grab handles. It does come standard covering the rear seats. The rear two mounts fall just behind the rear wheel well.

The 4 Runner cage DOES come with all the tubing needed to cover both the front and rear seat passengers. In other words it does come with the tubing that extends to just past the rear wheel wells. I sent you a PM about shipping options.

The pickup cage looks just like the front half of a 4 Runner cage, and fits just like it too. The difference is the pickup cages come with x bracing for the rear most hoop, and the rear most hoop is form fit to fit tightly against the back wall of the cab. For the extended cab trucks they come with both a B and a C pillar with connecting "ladder" bars included. You'll get all the tubing, mounting plates, tube handles, large corner gussets, and all mounting hardware that is needed.

I really just need the whole truck in to build one from. The only reason I don't have a cage is that I can't find a 1st gen around that I can get my hands on. There are only 2 or 3 that I have ever even seen around here, and there owners don't wheel and didn't want to let me borrow (even rent) it for something they didn't want, imagin that... Even offered to buy one of them.

i'll be adding an "X" to the b-pillar hoop on mine... as well as some door bars and possibly a dash bar. i'll let you know when i get it going Chris, hopefully what i do will give you some ideas...

Yes absolutely. I'm still working on a hand full of options for all of the cages. A B pillar cross bar is one of those along with dash bars, frame tie in kits and possibly spreader bars. I'll have more information and photos of that stuff as I complete it.

Can you post a pic of how it comes down by the driverside vent/switch area? I'm installing a military switch there in place of other switches and need to see how much room to leave for the bar. Here's a pic of the area I'm talking about:

The kits can easily be mounted to the frame as well with the supplied under body plates, by simply adding bushings, some tabs, and a little extra tubing. Give me a call and I can get you set up with all of those items as well.

I FINALLY got my hands on a 3rd gen pickup! I now have internal cages for the 89-95 Pickup regular and Extended cab! Check out the first post for pricing and photos on the first page also.

Bump - the X-cab cage turned out awesome. How much of a pain is it to install? Looks really tight in there, which is great.

It actually isn't too bad to install. The floor plates on most of the cages align themselves with bolts that are already there, so they go down fairly easily. Then the pillars go up, aligned by the A pillar and the cross bars. Ratchet straps or a friend to help is good. A good welding blanket is good to have to keep from burning a bunch of holes in the seats, or just pull the seats and carpet out. I just cover the windshield with some card board. To keep from burning the headliner I use an old welding glove with the fingers cut off and the seam on one side split so it opens up so I can slip it between the tubing and the headliner.

Have you seen one of these in a 1st gen 4Runner with a sunroof? Would you still be able to open the sunroof?

Yes they can be installed in the SR5 cabs with the sun roof. The best thing to do is to get a second center bar opening up the area where the latch is at. Give me a call if you'd like to talk about it.

I don't have any photos of that area of the cab at this moment. There are some photos of the 89-95 pickups which are very similar. Both kits include the cross braces at the back of the cab. I sent you a pm with the shipping rate to you.
