Sweet.

Went out to a "friends" yard, and scored an NP435. $50 bucks!

Just thought I'd share. :D

Can anybody recommend a good place to get a new shaft and adapter for a Dana 300?

Novak wants 480.

Can anybody beat that?

Hey RB! Why would I want to get rid of it?

Advance Adapters sells the adapter. I think it is around $350 and it comes with a new shaft. I have one in the garage. I also have a NP435. But I ended up getting some oddball one that has a huge input shaft and weird bolt pattern. :smokin: RK

you want to get rid of that adapter? I need one too and that is the only thing holding me back from getting a 435. that and the RPM at 70mph with 4.88 :)

hey has everyone seen this:
Bellhousing and CPS
The bellhousing that you will need is off a CJ with a T-150 or T-176 transmission (make sure you try and get the shift fork, ball and spring because you will need it after). Both of these bellhousings are exactly the same so don't stress about which one to get. The cool thing about this bellhousing is it will bolt up to your 4.0L and it will also bolt up to the NP435.

got that info from:

I've got a T176 in it already, so I'm golden on the bellhousing, just need the adapter for the t-case

Can someone verify that price of $350? The lowest I was able to find for the AA adapter was No Excuses at $425.
Where did you get the price of $350?
Thanks.

Yes, a T-176 or T-150 bellhousing will bolt to the 435, but I'm not sure on the 4.0 bolt pattern. I'm running a NP435 w/ a NP205 case mated to a 258 6cyl (for now, 5.0 swap this winter). The set-up works great.
