I finally put rear Disc brakes on my rear D60 and it seems like I'm having the opposite problem from every one else. I've read all about the E350 master swaps and others but lets talk about this first.
I have 3/4T Chevy calipers front and rear now and I don't have any leaks. Stock CJ7 MC and booster. I bled the brakes quite a bit and they will stop the Jeep. I started with the furthest wheel and worked toward the closest.
Heres what I dont understand: The pedal goes almost to the floor and the front brakes don't seem to be grabbing but the rears will lock up. The prop block makes a kind of squeeling/whining sound when I mash the pedal. Like the fluid is being squeezed through an obstructed hole.
Why aren't the front brakes working very well now I haven't even messed with them or anything else from the prop forward except for bleeding?
Am I missing something obvious?
