Posting this for a friend. I know a couple who have had problems with radius arm bushings tearing up. One specifically was a quasi wristed setup, he ate up bushings almost every run.
Currently comparing CAGE with JBG long radius arms and the big difference I see is the heims on the CAGE arms. I know the CAGE arms kick ass, but they do also seems like they may require some fab work to get in and this particular installer does not have access to a lot of "fabbing" equip.
Wondering about long term usage of radius arm bushings and are they holding up??

I have 2 years of wheeling on my RA bushings and no signs of wear.
If everything is set up right there should be no problems. If someone's bushings are blowing out in 1 trip, they need to take another look at their suspension design.

I ran the wristed arm and had to use the rubber strut bushings at the frame ends. They flex further and last a long time. The poly types don't flex well and will smash over time. The new Off set style WH sells are no good. They split on every run I went on.
With a wristed arm you need heim joints on both ends of the trac bar otherwise the poly bushings will fail on every trip.
The Cage arms are way stronger than JBG's arms. Both will require about the same modifications like cutting off the old mounts on the frame and welding or bolting the new mounts on. Everyting is pretty much a bolt up process.

If he's loosing bushings that often, could his bushings be already damn near maxed just sitting level???

I've had a wristed set up with poly bushings for about 2 years and a lot of trips with no visible problems.

If you're eating bushings that fast then you need to take a look at the angle at the radius arm to frame mount. Ideally the mount itself will be perpendicular to the radius arm at on the ground ride height.
