when I was building my Jeep last winter I left my CD player on until the red top totally drained I bought a batttery charger at auto zone and charged it for 3 days at a time, taking the charger off after 24 hours and then wait a day until it had been on for about days, now its back to life. call Optima if you cant find yor receipt and see what they will do for you.:nuke:

even if you get it to hold a charge it wont be as strong as a new one. try to warranty it if you cant let me know and i might do it for you.

the optimas have a date code melted into the side of them - every 90 days the distributors pick up any that are beyond the 90 days and take them back where they are recherged / recertified and re datecoded. If the place you bought it gives you a bad time, call Interstate Batteries and they'll help you out.
