Looks good!! I usually don't like exos but this one is nice and I like the design. Keep up the good work. How many leaves are in the YJ spring pack? Are they out of a 4 or 6 cylinder, fronts or rears?

First let me say nice looking ride. What did you paint your cage with? I got mine done just before Zukimelt and just did a quick spray paint job, and need something more durable and scratch resistant.

Is this lilmike or lilmike's bro or none of the above? The truck looks familiar.

Looks good. I'd lower it a lot. I have 20" on 37's at the belly and it's set up to wheel the same terrain you do. Low COG is where it is at. You can easily drop it 3-4" from what I can see.

dumb:lil mike is a good friend of mine,im bigskop and lil' lucifer is my bro.
i was excused from this site awhile ago so i post under my bros name.
my rig has 1.6L efi with 4.1 breeze case,5:29's with detroits F+R.
like i said in a previous reply i forgot 2 pull out the 3"body lift so im fawked with overall height.were pulling 1-spring outta the front pack and hopefully the 1.6 and 9000lb-warn will bring it down a couple inches.
if you know how i can get down a couple more let me know.

Cool, makes sense now...

Not without a bunch of re-work. One leaf per pack will get an inch or so the winch will help. Comtemplate looking at your leaf mounting points and shackle mounts. Consider, looking at sleeving your frame for a shackle and reducing the height in your front mounts. you have plenty of "fender well" to accomodate those tires, even in a flex situation. It will be worth the time, believe me. One of the main reasons some of the rigs I've had influence on work so well is low COG.
FWIW, MK also has a 21" belly however, he is flat across, slider-frame-slider where mine (and yours due to the frame/body reference) is boatsided quite a bit. I have a "bodylift" in mine for tranny clearance (though it's just repositioned body mounts since my frame is made from scratch). However, I'm re-contemplating a lot right now and looking to remove it along with a section/body drop type thing. It'll be cool but I haven't started so no pics yet.

The most drastic thing you could do (but cutting into something recently completed sucks -- believe me I know) is to dump the B/L and rework you cage mounts. Yes it means re coping/cutting the bottoms off of everything, however it looks like you have a free couple of inches where it wouldn't be as hard as it sounds. However, you now know why my build is taking so long. I have a goal in mind and won't stop until it's satisfied no matter how long it takes.

dumb:my belly clearance is 25" right now,the guy building it says we will get it down to 22-23" so i think this will be ok.its been stretched forward 3.5" and now were chop'n the rear frame right behind whats left of the body and tube'n it into the cage and stretching a 4-link coil system back so almost half of my tire will past the frame approx.7-10".reworking the cage and body i wont do cause its already been in the shop 4 too long,so i will just have 2 deal with it until my next big plans 4 the rig.

That's cool. 22-23 isn't anything to scoff at especially if your t'case hangs down a little. I think it will work just fine. Who's building it -- Owen?
