and for that matter.....how bout the H55warrantee from toyota???? will they warantee it on retrofits or conversions???

now i don't know if it is a good deal or not, no shifter, bellhousing.... then you need clutch set, ......the list goes on.

I dunno about the used H55F's sold by MAF or SOR, but because they are an offline part, Toyota will not warranty any of the new H55F's.

You've got that right about the extra parts needed. I bought one of their transmissions, which I love but you figure it would at least come along with the shiffter. It was a major pain tracking down the parts because the type of shifter changed from year to year and model to model

I bought a chevy transmission but the top was a dodge. At least thats what I ended getting to fit it. Then a shifter handle from Advance adapters.

The tranny is great though. Next to the saginaw power steering conversion, this is the best mod I've done.
