I know there has been conversions in series rovers using the 4D56 mitsubishi diesel, however, I just can't find any current info on this swap.
Does anyone know of any adapters available mating the 4D56 to a series rover 4 speed?
Thanks for any leads...

I think you may have to make your own. Im not a fan of these motors tho. Hope to see you on the New Years run.

Hey Ethan, long time no see! Deterimined to do that conversion eh?
Working at Meadows? Glad they got the highway rebuilt so quick.
I've only been up once so far this year. If you are up for going snowboarding sometime let me know. I have a trial 1/11 and 12 that may be going away so I might be able to go up then.
And I have a friend that works at Crystal Mountain so I'm thinking about making an overnight run up there.
Drop me a line sometime. I won't be on the snow run - family.

what is the era/info on these motors. Are they the direct inject mechanicals out of the cab overs or the old NA motors from the early 80s?

Good to hear from you guys.
I just thought I'd inquire about the Mitsu diesel because I found one locally cheap. Just exploring options, I suppose. And Yes, Simon, still determined! I got myself a garage now so hopefully some kind of creation should be underway soon. Besides, the series rig is sitting in the garage with the 2.25 sitting on the floor next to it - sounds like an incentive to me to stick something else in there!
I'm operating snowcats full time up at Meadows. Been riding a lot... We should meet up one of these days, although I have a bit of a crazy schedule.
Later guys...

Bastard!
Glad to hear you got what you wanted up there by way of work. PM me your cell if it changed.
I have a kerosene/diesel garage heater if you want to borrow it. It kicks out some serious heat.
