Just got a 94 Range Rover LWB. The tranny seems extrmly soft. When I put it in drive it takes a far amount of go pedal to get it moving. Shift into low and the truck is real crisp. Are auto trannys inthese real sluggish or is it getting ready to die. I got it for $2500. Thinking about trading it for a 83 yota PU with 37 mtrs- smlblock chevy 400 with fuel injection - turbo 350 - detriot rear openfront. Interior cage.

Any ideas on the tranny?????????

trade it, you already seem like the type that will be bitching about how rover sucks and how toyotas are maintenance free.

but mine takes off pretty quick from the line, your transmission is broke/low fluid.

Never owned a yota.Just have had jeeps in the past.

Oh for the love of God man! check fluid level and kickdown cable.
