Motor is an AMC360 out of a wagoneer. Maybe yall could help me out being this is my first carbed motor. When I first crank it, it runs fine until it warms up to about 180. Than it will either die or start to stall out. It will crank back up but run rough. The choke is working fine. After its started back up I sometimes smell gas like its flooded. After dieng and cranking it a few times, when I go to crank it, the fuel pump gets awfly loud when cranking but once its idling its goes back to normal sound. Could the carb be getting to much fuel causing it to die? I also noticed that there is no fuel filter in the fuel lines anywhere. The carb, lines, fuel cell and pump are new so I doubt the carb is dirty. This is making want meto pony up for a fuel injection kit. There is a fuel pressure guage in the line between the electrical fuel pump and carb, what is a good reading?
