i posted this elsewhere but no answers, so lets try here.

i have my rear waggy d44 apart, and was looking at the axle shafts. i have never had a d44, and wondered about what the shafts are, if they were upgraded before i bought it. they do not narrow at the splines, where i have seen others, i believe, any insite of pics to help me make sure i dont have upgraded shafts.

i would have taken pics, but camera is down.
the shaft also is thicker toward the bearings. stock? aftermarket?

Who makes alloy's for the Waggy rear?
Is there some sort of numbers or forge symbol saying who made them?
Does this mean my Detroit is ready to ship? :D

None of the stock rear waggy shafts that I have run have narrowed at the splines. Marc
