So my long national nightmare is over. The BW is out.

Now, what do you guys think I ought to do w/it?

I'm tempted to toss it in my recycling can and let them deal with it at the junkyard.

Anyone *LOCAL* wanna come pick up a free one?

Are they fun to take apart?

Last one I had didn't tempt me much, I ended up giving it to BCB.

whats dead about it? if it were me i would most definetly take it apart and fiddle with it. never know you might end up fixing it somehow and keeping it as a spare =/ i never throw away broken mechanical parts, i always screw around with them first, sometimes fix them, hey at the least u might gain a bit of knoledge about them that you didnt already know.

VC is froze.

I'll probably mess with it. At least I'll get some nice bolts.

VC is worth more than the case . . . toss in trash . . . .

I've got two B/W "planters" started behind my shed...

The spider gear pin is a one piece design and a good substitute in a LT 230 with a little fiddling.

Is it something that I can do w/out any special tools...i.e. 'the fiddling'?

They're both out, and if you think it's worthwhile and doable for a hack like myself, I'd try it.
