Cool, I thought this might have been you. I'm going to be back down in Tidewater come Sept-Oct 07, but then head right out to sea...Haze Gray and Underway... I'll be back then Feb 08.

So, you still working for NN Shipyard? I'm still in the Navy and 6 more years to go so when we move back we'll be in our house there in the western edge of Portsmouth. Hope to hear from you soon.

Not looking to spend that much right now... Im building a garage now so this truck is going to be the first project in the new building once its up.... gonna keep it cheap for now and keep the 350 with headers intake and carb and maybe a lil bs cam that I have laying around...:smokin:

It'd be sweet to swap in the cummins but Im not going down that road right now... Just gonna stick with the lil mouse for a while and use gearing to get loads moving... One day Ill have something with a diesel but its not in the budget right now.

Looks nice. GMC regular cab duallys are pretty unique. It should be a plenty stout setup for almost any hauling you need to do and you're $40-50K (I should say years of payments...) ahead of what seems like the majority of people on this board! Congratulations.

Why are they unique? Just because its a reg cab? So far as the money... my list of expenses for it is:

$63.00 - Diesel Fuel for my buds f350 to tow it home
$40.00 - Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel Toll 20 bux each way from picking the truck up
$50.00 - Misc Supplies P/S belt, airfilter, oil, Carb Cleaner,etc...

$153.00 - Grand total invested so far...

I just hardly ever see that combo around this area. Even the Chevys are pretty few and far between.

Great truck. I have the same year GMC with 4x4/454/th400 and a regular cab. The thing will push a mountain of snow during plow season.

Rust eats cars and truck where I am so it's a long shot locally, but I'm starting to look around for a nice mid 80's chevy/gmc ton, crew, srw 4x4. I'd like to use it as my daily driver.
