Heads-up for those that are in or around Concord, CA. There's a huge tool sale at the Radison Hotel (use to be Sheraton) off of Concord Ave. There's lots of tools for low prices. I'm not affiliated but, noticed it this morning (work across the street). They are there until 7pm today only.

This is the event that Cummins puts on.

If you missed this sale, they are having the same event in Alamo, CA at the Women's club. Not sure when or where the Women's club is but, keep an eye out in the paper. I saw a few people bring in an ad.

I was mainly looking at the $20 and under stuff. Got a set of metric/standard stubby wrenches for $20 and a metric impact set for $20. Supposedly their hand tools have a lifetime warranty.

Here's their site: www.cumminstools.com (I'm not affiliated with them)

The cummins stuff is low quality and at least if you bought them and then broke or lost a piece, it's not something to bitch and yell about. The name brand stuff that I saw were all refurbs.

is that the one off of china garden? i finally stopped in there a couple months ago after driving by it for ever. i was impressed with what they had. sure there was some cheap junk but they had a lot of hard to find tools like the 10x1.25 tap i had looked every where for. cool place.

That's the one. Mostly junk, but a few jewels if you look hard.
