My dad has a '87 s-10 blazer w/ a smoked trans and motor, I can pick it up fairly cheap (he's a cheap fawker!!) and I was thinking about a 400/th-350/205 swap. I have those parts but my problem/questions come w/ the axles. I am a toyota person and thought a set of toy axles would be all right, or do I go w/ a set of 3/4 tons and how is the best way to mount the front axle and get everything to work....The truck will be used for mud and trail and probably never see the road. Any info would be nice, pics would be cool. Dave:D

Toy axles would work fine. Just need to make sure the T-case drop is on the correct side for your front axle.
As for hanging the axle, you just need to make sure that you beef the front of the truck enough to hang a couple of shakle hangers.
