I was just wondering if the Antirock or Rocklock can be installed in a YJ, I am guessing the only real modification would be where the links attach to the axle

Currie and many other brands offer universal swaybars you can adapt to your YJ.

will it bolt it? My guess is no. Can it be made to work using some fab skills? Probably.

I put a Tera S/T on my wife's YJ. The tube is the same length as the TJ, though the diameter on the YJ is slightly smaller. I threw the bushings in a lathe and took off about .120 and they slid right in (still a little tight, that's good). Of course I had to weld a mount to the axle. I welded shock studs to the spring plate. Works great...like it so much I am trying to figure out a way to do my CJ. That will require more fab, a frame extension of about 2" and a crossmember/tube install.

The Currie should be about the same. I would look at the S/T myself, I think it is a better setup than the anti-rock...different principle. The anti-rock is designed to stay on all the time and help push the uphill tire onto the traction surface when you are sidehilling...great idea for a coil spring Jeep, but maybe not so important for a leaf spring Jeep. It tends not to be much benefit on the road. The S/T is designed to improve road handling and to easily disconnect when off road (a turn of the dial).

Just some thoughts.

It will work with some modification to the poly cap that goes in the cross member.

In my opinion its not needed on a YJ. I daily drove one for about 8 years with no sway bar or track bar. At 299.95 it seems to me that money could be better used in other places on your jeep..

(YFI I work for Currie)

I would agree with this if you are full width. SOA with stock YJ width, it is worth it, IMO.

I am stock width with SOA without the track it seems to have a little death wobble and without the sway bar it feels allover on the highway I also have the rs9000 shocks set on the lowest setting but I like the soft ride.

1. Make sure it is aligned w/ 5 to 7 degrees positive caster if you haven't done so already.

2. Make sure everything is new and tight (bearings, bushings, TRE's, ball joints, steering box and mounts, etc.

3. If it is "all over the highway" all the time, not just in turns, the sway bar won't help all that much.

4. If it is "all over the highway" mostly in the turns and you feel like there is a ton of body roll, the Currie sway bar will help some, but the S/T is your new best friend.

my opinion...

it drives really good now but i drove around with no sway bar and no front track bar and didn't like the way it handled at all even without the sway bar I don't like the way it handles especially at highway speeds.
