Ahhhhhh, I remember when I finished my PS and drove it for the first time......That was one of the best improvements that I have ever done to a rig.

Congrats.

Is there anyway you could take a couple of pics of the kit that got from extremebends. I went to there website and it wasn't very helpful. I am interested in the steering shaft and ujoints that you got. Also, if you don't mind, a general idea on how much you spent on the kit. Thanks in advnace, Thomas

for a slimmer u joint look in to borgeson racing steering joints, 70 bucks a pop but are slim and neat looking. jiMMy

Jimmy, that was what was planning on using for my setup. Are you using these? If so, what shaft are you using with it? I was just going to buy the Borgeson double-d shaft and weld on another ujoint yoke onto the other end.
Are you using the stock cruiser steering column? That is the only problem that I am running into. I don't know the best way to attch another u-joint yoke to the stock cruiser steering shaft.

i run 2 of them, one at the box and one right where it connects to he cruiser shaft(yes stock colum) the main shaft is a double d one as well. borgesen joints use set screws. i welded them on mine cuz they cae loose once and the shaft fell out. jiMMy

Are the Borgeson joint yoke made from cast steel or machined steel? I imagine they are machined if you welded one end to the stock cruiser shaft. Did you get the double-d shaft from Borgeson as well? Just curious.
