kevin carleton 05-13-2002, 10:13 AM i have a 83 toyota with a 350 turbo 400 and a 205. i changed the tranny filter in the turbo 400 , the filter in side had the bolt in it to hold it and a little space above the bolt that the bolt goes through. with the spacer in place and the bolt tight the filter was not tight and moved around. is this normal or should the filter be really tight with the bolt in it. thanks ranger 05-13-2002, 02:59 PM I have never seen one with a filter spacer. Does it have a deep tranny pan? This could be why someone used a spacer. It shouldn't be loose anyways.
