ok, you jeep 4.0 gurus.............here is my question.

i have a 88 4.0 cherokee. i also have a 98 cherokee 4.0 engine. the 98 engine block is junk, but the intake is good (head). the 88 has a bad head. so the question is will the 98 work on the 89 without any mods??? do the ports match? do the bolts alighn? how about the power steering brakets etc? if mods are required, are they worth it?? i think you guys get what i want to do here, so all answers are appreciated. thanks!!
