For any of you guys out there that have outboarded your spring hangers, could you post some pics (rear front mount mainly). Believe me i've done the Search thing, but didn't find much on Sammy's, mainly Jeeps. My axles are Scout Dana 44's and the springs are YJ's.
Sammy center hole to center hole is 28"...
Scout axles are 31"...
Thanks

it is pretty easy. you are going to have to extend your frame in hte front a bit for the yjs so just build a bumper that is extended out and you can just mount spring hangers to the extended bumper. then for the back mount for the front spring you can just cut it off and you will have a flatplate off of the bottom of the body mount. add to it and extend it out some. then attach your spring hanger. i don't have any measurements or pic's though.

The jig...hehehehe thats what me and Tusker used to call that old frame peice. We used it a few times. No paid fabwork here, just goofing off for me and my buddies. Infact I made all of the peices for that extension, but I had my co-worker Brad weld it since he is the man and has the right shit for burning thick metal.

Its funny.. I had 2 people offering to buy my LWB in the last week & both fell through.. I was gonna actually do it & build a tube buggy, looks like the LWB is getting built anyway! Here's a VERY ROUGH sketch of what I had in mind... do you think it will work?
